Rio Silveiras Guarani Reserve

We developed the “Bem-Vindos – Pedju Porã” (“Pedju Porã – Welcome”) project in partnership with the indigenous community of the Rio Silveiras Guarani Reserve and with the health center of this village. We promote meetings that serve to strengthen and encourage the traditional Guarani culture and wisdom, broadening these with knowledge of urban centers.

We work with pregnant women, parents, mothers and their children of up to 5 years of age.

We carry out exchanges between Guarani and local town cultures, receiving indigenous people at our São Paulo headquarters and also during our trips to the Rio Silveiras Guarani Reserve in Boraceia, São Sebastião.

A deeper understanding of diverse cultures enables true integration, which enriches rather than nullifies the culture that is supposed to be weaker or more vulnerable.
