Since 1989, at the end of each year the “Dance Choir” Event has been organized, which was renamed the “Cultural Event” in 2000.
The event gathers Morungaba students with disabilities and living in different social situations, and aims to celebrate the end of the year’s activities with participants and share the results with the students’ families and the community.
Dance, music, circus, and drama presentations, and an art and photography exhibit synthesize the work developed by Morungaba, and all groups formed throughout the year participate.
The Events, free and open to the public, occur outside or in drama, and are supported by institutions such as Banco Itaú, Colégio Santa Cruz, SESC, and São Paulo City Hall.
