Colégio Santa Cruz

Renata studied at Colégio Santa Cruz (1975-77) and was strongly influenced by the school’s guidelines, which had social actions as one of its cornerstones.

With the Canadian priests of the Santa Cruz Congregation, she participated in missions for the fishing community of Barra do Una beach, and was always responsible for integrating the children through recreational activities.

During the break between classes, she had the habit of freely integrating with children from the Jaguaré shanty town who used to come to her on the sidewalk by the school.
